Position Summary South Seattle Otolaryngology is a well-established private practice that is a care center of Proliance Surgeons. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Physician Assistant to join our team 4 days per week. This role is designed for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory clinic environment and is passionate about providing outstanding care. This PA would be heavily involved in the Allergy side of the clinic. Schedule 32 hours/week, Monday - Thursday. Key Duties and Responsibilities As a PA in our practice, you will manage a diverse panel of patients presenting with a broad range of ENT pathologies affecting the head and neck. You will have the opportunity to interpret audiograms and diagnostic imaging, perform various in-office procedures, and provide pre- and post-operative care. Depending on experience, you may assist in surgical procedures but this is infrequent coverage. Working heavily in the Allergy side of the clinic. The key duties and responsibilities of the Physician Assistant include, but are not limited to: Greeting/ identifying patient & completing and documenting an accurate history and physical examination of patients; may include moving and positioning patients Conducting comprehensive or episodic health assessments and developing patient care plans Ordering and interpreting tests, treatments, and therapies, within the scope of practice Prescribing medications, diet, supplies, prosthetic devices, and other home health aides according to clinical privileges Administer and/or inject medications Wound care; apply or remove casting, splinting, wound dressing; suture and staple removal, etc. Instruct and counsel patients regarding the total treatment plan & therapeutic regimes Providing clear, concise, and accurate information regarding patient care in the medical record Obtain/maintain technical familiarity and proficiency for specific surgical procedures prior to their performance Remain proficient in the utilization of commonly used clinical protocols and guidelines Assist in Surgical Procedures Hospital rounds, including patient care, charting & all paperwork/documentation, and interacting with the patient and family/care givers, staff, consultants, and discharge planners.

About our practice South Seattle Otolaryngology has proudly served the South Central Puget Sound region since 1963. We have been a care center for Proliance Surgeons since 2008. Our practice currently includes two full-time physicians and one audiologist. We offer comprehensive ENT services as well as facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. We also offer ancillary services, including allergy, hearing aid/audiology, and CT imaging. Our well-appointed clinic was remodeled in 2021 and is located on the campus of St. Anne Hospital. We serve a medically diverse patient population and enjoy a healthy work + life balance.
