We are seeking a Psychiatric Physician Assistant for a 23-day assignment starting Oct 28, 2026, in Wisconsin. The role involves providing comprehensive clinical coverage for an inpatient behavioral health census, managing psychiatric follow-ups, new admissions, discharges, and urgent clinical evaluations during 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM day shifts. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive clinical coverage for an assigned inpatient behavioral health census. Manage approximately 8-12 patient encounters on a typical full-census day, including psychiatric follow-ups, new admissions, discharges, and urgent clinical evaluations. Complete all required documentation and participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning. Adhere to the principle that patient safety and quality of care take precedence over encounter volume. Manage an expected daily census of approximately 10-15 patients, adjusted based on patient acuity, admissions, discharges, staffing, and other clinical responsibilities.
