Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant - Surgery - Cardiovascular & Thoracic for a 120-day assignment in Wisconsin, starting Sep 28, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative care, assisting surgeons during complex procedures, and managing post-operative patients through rotating 24-hour shifts. Responsibilities and Duties Provide perioperative care for CV/CT surgery patients Assist the surgeon in the OR during complex procedures Perform or assist with saphenous vein harvesting (independent experience strongly preferred) Handle preop evaluations, consults, and postop management Round daily and monitor for clinical changes Manage postop patients in ICU/step-down settings Manage chest tubes, drains, lines, and wounds within scope Identify and escalate postop complications
