We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment in Alaska, starting Jan 4, 2027. The schedule involves Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm shifts. This role focuses on managing a diverse primary care patient panel, addressing urgent care needs, and performing various procedures including suturing and women's health services within a rural/Indian health setting. Responsibilities and Duties Manage a primary care patient panel population. Provide urgent care services, including common procedures like fish hook removals. Serve a rural/Indian health Alaska population. Perform suturing, splintering, pap smears, pelvic exams, and IUD removal and insertions. Manage complex chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, hyperlipidemia, COPD, chronic pain, and foot care. Care for pediatric patients as needed.
