What You'll Do:

Provide inpatient general surgery call coverage during scheduled dates Be on 24-hour beeper call with the potential for callbacks Collaborate with hospital staff in a busy medical setting Maintain compliance with all licensing and credentialing standards Follow policies for clean file requirements, including active AK license and current DEA Complete orientation and provide emergent surgical support as needed Work efficiently within a hospital environment ensuring patient safety and quality care

What You Need:

Valid and active Alaska medical license DEA registration in Alaska Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications Clean professional record: no settlements, DUIs, restrictions, or medical board actions Prior general surgery call coverage experience preferred About the
