Job Description
An established Nurse Practitioner-led wellness clinic is seeking a licensed Alabama Physician (MD/DO) for a limited part-time/PRN position in a collaborative outpatient practice setting. This role involves periodic in-person patient evaluations, physician oversight, and collaborative management of adult patients receiving hormone replacement therapy and other wellness services, including patients prescribed Schedule III-V medications in accordance with Alabama law and applicable collaborative practice requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking flexible supplemental income with minimal time commitment. Position Overview Approximately 1 clinic day per month Flexible scheduling Outpatient wellness and hormone optimization practice Established patient base Administrative and support staff provided Responsibilities Conduct periodic in-person evaluations for established patients Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners regarding treatment plans and ongoing patient care Provide physician oversight consistent with Alabama collaborative practice requirements Review documentation and participate in quality assurance activities as appropriate Maintain independent medical judgment regarding patient care decisions Qualifications Active Alabama MD or DO license Active DEA registration Comfortable evaluating and managing adult patients receiving hormone replacement therapy, including testosterone therapy Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, men's health, wellness medicine, endocrinology, or functional medicine preferred Professional, collaborative, and patient-centered approach Compensation Competitive PRN compensation Flexible scheduling Low-volume outpatient setting Interested candidates may submit a CV/resume and brief summary of availability and clinical experience for confidential consideration.
