Job Description

Overview Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect patient care in various healthcare settings including in-hospital and outpatient clinics, while obtaining knowledge and experience necessary to progress to independent medical practice without direct supervision. The Fellow shall also be responsible for medical coverage during the hours necessary to render inpatient care and other normal after-hours services may be required.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
One of the following: Doctor of Medicine (MD) Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) Doctor of equivalent field Must have completed
Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency Licensure, Registration, Certification:
ACLS
  • BLS
  • Full, unrestricted State of Alabama medical license Alabama Controlled Substance Certificate and DEA
  • Must obtain within 14 days of placement in position
