In this role, you will provide essential regulatory oversight, clinical consultation, and chart reviews for our Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and/or PAs). This is a flexible, primarily remote role requiring a minimal monthly time commitment, making it an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking high-impact side revenue or a flexible lifestyle schedule.
Core Responsibilities:
Clinical Collaboration:
Serve as a remote consultant to APPs on complex cases, diagnostic questions, and treatment plans.
Chart Review:
Conduct routine monthly quality audits and chart reviews as mandated by state regulations and company policy.
Protocol Oversight:
Review, sign off, and maintain written Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs) and clinical protocols.
Prescriptive Authority:
Provide required legal delegation for prescriptive authority according to state board guidelines.
Availability:
Maintain predictable, asynchronous availability (via phone, text, or secure messaging) during clinic operating hours for urgent escalations.
Position Details & Schedule:
Employment Type:
Part-Time / Independent Contractor (1099 or W2).
Location:
Must hold an active license in AL.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Unrestricted, active medical license in the state of
AL Credentials:
Active, unrestricted DEA registration.
Experience:
Prior experience working with or supervising Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants is highly preferred.
