Job Description

Urgent Care Physician Location:
Alabama Schedule:
Ongoing per diem shifts. 8 hour and 12 hour shift options may be available (for example 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM). Minimum commitment of 6 to 8 shifts per month as outlined in the order details.
Openings:
1 Position Overview Provide urgent care coverage in an outpatient clinic setting. The provider will work solo with clinical support staff as outlined in the order details and must be comfortable with high volume urgent care workflow. Clinical Scope Urgent care setting
Ages:
2 and older Patient volume: up to approximately 4 patients per hour Typical cases include urgent care testing, X rays, sutures, 12 lead EKG interpretation, and physicals
EMR:
Experity (Velocidoc) Required Qualifications MD or DO Family Medicine or Internal Medicine background with comfort seeing pediatric patients Urgent care experience within the last year as outlined in the order details Board certified as outlined in the order details DEA required Clean background and clean NPDB history required as outlined in the order details Credentialing Onboarding and credentialing timeline is typically about 1 week plus an in person shadow date, as outlined in the order details Travel and Lodging Lodging may be available when working consecutive days, as outlined in the order details Mileage reimbursement may be available after the defined commute threshold, as outlined in the order details Benefits Malpractice insurance coverage Weekly electronic pay Refer and earn program: Earn $2,000 per referral.
