HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for a permanent, hospital-employed opportunity in the Summit, Arkansas, area of the Ozarks. This position offers a $755,000 base salary, additional production-based earning potential, an established gastroenterology team, advanced endoscopy resources, and the opportunity to practice in one of the most scenic communities in the Ozarks. Both physicians perform ERCP and are available to mentor a physician interested in developing or expanding advanced procedural skills. The established gastroenterology service provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for conditions involving the upper and lower gastrointestinal tracts, liver, gallbladder, biliary system, and pancreas.

Schedule and Call Full-time employed schedule Ten days of call per month Call schedule includes one weekend per month Clinic, procedure, inpatient, and call responsibilities are coordinated within the gastroenterology team Complete clinic hours, procedure-block allocation, inpatient rounding expectations, and call-response requirements will be reviewed during the interview process. Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultations Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures Conduct colon-cancer screening and surveillance Diagnose and manage inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, reflux disease, and pancreaticobiliary conditions Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans Collaborate with gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, nurses, and primary care physicians Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation Participate in shared call coverage Support quality, safety, and performance-improvement initiatives Qualifications MD or DO degree Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Active Arkansas medical license or eligibility to obtain one Eligibility for applicable medical-staff appointment and clinical privileges Strong endoscopic, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills Ability to work collaboratively within an established multidisciplinary program ERCP experience is welcomed but not required; mentorship is available Compensation and Benefits $755,000 base salary Production-based bonus opportunity Commencement bonus Relocation assistance Potential educational assistance Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance Retirement plan Professional liability insurance CME support Additional employed-physician benefits Final incentive amounts, productivity methodology, and applicable repayment or commitment provisions will be reviewed before an offer is accepted.
