Job Description
We're looking for a compassionate Locums Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join a community health center in Benson, Arizona. This role is a great fit for physicians experienced in adult medicine who enjoy delivering high-quality, patient-centered outpatient care in a community-focused setting. What the role offers Flexible scheduling: PRN, part-time, or full-time Shift options: half days or full days to suit your availability Practice setting: outpatient adult medicine at a Community Health Center Typical patient volume: about 3-4 patients per hour Core responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult patients Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic conditions Deliver preventive care, health screenings, and patient education Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless services Maintain accurate, timely documentation and meet charting standards Who we're looking for MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license and DEA registration Strong clinical judgment, excellent bedside manner, and effective communication skills Comfortable working in a collaborative, community-focused environment About Benson, Arizona Benson is a small, welcoming town in southeastern Arizona known for open desert scenery, a rich railroad history, and easy access to outdoor attractions like Kartchner Caverns and the San Pedro Riparian Area. It's a relaxed, friendly community that offers a nice balance for physicians who want meaningful clinical work and a pleasant place to spend downtime.
