Job Description
Description . This contract role offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced medical environment dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes. As a Trauma Surgeon, you will play a vital role in the surgical intervention and management of trauma patients. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the highest levels of patient care and safety. Your contributions will be integral to our mission of delivering top-quality medical services within the community. Responsibilities Assess and manage trauma patients in need of surgical intervention Perform surgical procedures and post-operative care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans Monitor and evaluate patient progress during recovery Provide education and support to patients and their families Participate in on-call responsibilities as required Stay current with advancements in trauma surgery techniques Adhere to all health and safety regulations and standards Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Valid medical license in the state of practice Completion of a residency program in General Surgery Board certification in Trauma Surgery (preferred) Strong surgical skills and clinical judgment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
