We're looking for a motivated, skilled NP or PA to join our Orthopedic Trauma Surgery team in Goodyear, AZ. You'll care for orthopedic trauma patients across the full spectrum - from initial consults in the ED to post-op follow-ups - working closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital environment. What you'll do: Evaluate and manage inpatient and emergency orthopedic trauma consultations First-assist in the OR on trauma and acute orthopedic procedures Perform pre-op and post-op evaluations and daily rounding Provide procedures such as joint reductions, splinting, and wound care Coordinate care with trauma surgeons, orthopedic staff, and allied teams Document thoroughly and accurately in the EMR Support discharge planning and patient education Participate in rotating coverage that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays Who we're looking for: Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Current Arizona license or ability to obtain licensure before starting Orthopedic or trauma surgery experience required (preferred: 1+ years) BLS and ACLS certification required DEA registration or ability to obtain Strong clinical decision-making, procedural competence, and the ability to operate independently in a team-driven setting
