- Position Overview
- Parkway Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated and professional Front Office employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage front desk operations, answering phones, responding to inquiries, and directing calls appropriately. Verify patient insurance information and communicate any necessary details to patients. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records. Schedule patient appointments. Organize and update medical records. Assist with office management duties, including inventory management and ordering supplies. Collect patient payments. Address patient inquiries, concerns, and requests with empathy and professionalism. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA privacy regulations at all times. Work on prior authorizations and referrals. Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk area at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in pediatrics or family medicine.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic computer skills and experience with a medical electronic records program preferred. Friendly personality with good people skills. Attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time. Ability to remain calm and patient under pressure.
