Job Description
Job Summary and Responsibilities As an Interventional Cardiology Physician with Mercy Medical Group , you will join the world-class Cardiovascular Services affiliated with Mercy General Hospital and Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, becoming a pivotal member of one of California's busiest and most respected Cardiology departments. This exceptional shareholder-track opportunity allows you to contribute to a clinically focused, community-based medical practice within a multi-specialty group of over 550 providers, making a significant impact on cardiac health in the Sacramento region. You will perform a comprehensive range of non-structural interventional procedures, including coronary angiograms, stenting, peripheral vascular interventions, shock wave, laser, and atherectomies. You will collaborate closely with a robust team of 6 Interventional Cardiologists, 4 General Cardiologists, 2 Outpatient NPs, and other cardiovascular specialists. This role includes a shared call schedule of 1:4 and opportunities to participate in clinical research, all supported by a dynamic staff and excellent colleagues within a strong referral system. To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist with proven skills in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention and strong interpersonal and communication abilities to thrive in a collaborative team environment. Your expertise should encompass general cardiology and coronary interventions, with a focus on non-structural procedures.
