•whichever is greater Eye Associates & Dermatology is seeking an experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our established Northern California practice in Clearlake. This is not a start-up position . You will be joining an established dermatology practice with an existing patient database and strong ongoing patient demand , providing the opportunity to step into an active clinical schedule and develop a long-term patient following. We are looking for an experienced provider who enjoys practicing with a high degree of independence while having the support, staffing, and resources of an established physician-led medical practice. Highly Competitive Compensation We offer a compensation structure designed to provide both security and significant earning potential: $90.00 per hour OR 30% of Net Collections, whichever is greater. The $90 hourly rate provides a strong guaranteed income, while the 30% collections option rewards productivity and provides the opportunity to earn substantially more as patient volume and collections increase. With an established patient base and ongoing demand for dermatology services, there is no need to build a practice from the ground up . The Position The PA will provide general medical and surgical dermatology care to an established patient population. Once established, anticipated clinical volume is approximately 22-24 patients per full clinical day or more , depending upon the Provider's experience, efficiency, procedure mix, patient complexity, and interest in additional productivity. You will have a dedicated Medical Assistant to support your clinical practice and help maintain an efficient patient flow. Our practice utilizes Modernizing Medicine (ModMed/EMA) , a dermatology-specific electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities include:

Evaluation and treatment of common dermatologic conditions Skin cancer screening and surveillance Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic skin conditions Biopsies and other office-based dermatologic procedures Cosmetic dermatology services, based upon experience and interest Patient education and follow-up Collaboration with physicians and other members of our dermatology team Accurate and timely documentation in Modernizing Medicine (ModMed/EMA)

Qualifications Required:

Minimum of 3 years of direct clinical dermatology experience as a Physician Assistant Current or eligible California Physician Assistant license Experience independently evaluating and managing dermatology patients Proficiency with routine dermatologic procedures Excellent clinical judgment and patient communication skills Ability to efficiently manage a schedule of 22-24 patients per day or more while maintaining high-quality patient care Experience with Modernizing Medicine/EMA is preferred but not required. This is not an entry-level dermatology position. We are specifically seeking an experienced dermatology PA who can transition into an established practice and existing patient population.
