Job Description

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for Primary Care Physicians (PCP) to work in a Correctional facility in Delano, CA . The PCP is requested to provide services in specialized areas such as emergency medicine, surgery, etc. This role is for Independent Contractors (1099) and requires Workers Comp and Professional Liability to be provided by the contractor.
Pay:
$220/hr | Mon-Thurs OR Tues-Fri 7A-5

Delano, CA Duties:
Primary Care Physicians shall provide high-quality services. Provide and manage medical healthcare services for the patient/youth PCP shall adhere to the facility's medical staff by-laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and comply with universal infection control precautions. PCP shall be skilled in the preparation of written clinical review documents. Perform medical procedures as necessary Prescribe medications and treatments Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals Maintain confidential patient medical records
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years providing patient care within that setting and possess any required certificates. Clinical competencies must be current and validated for the area in which Primary Care Physician will be assigned. Candidates must also have at least one (1) year of experience within the last five (5) years rendering obstetric and gynecological nursing or patient care services in a healthcare setting in addition to the above qualifications. Primary Care Physician must be a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy (M.D./D.O.), Board Certified, maintain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, maintain current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification.
