100% Outpatient Position Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join an outpatient specialty practice in El Centro, California. The physician will provide comprehensive evaluation and management of diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic conditions, hormonal disorders, and endocrine diseases in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. This is a 100% outpatient position with no routine inpatient rounds, emergency department coverage, or hospital call. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and manage Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, and other glucose disorders. Manage complex diabetes, including insulin therapy, CGMs, insulin pumps, and diabetes technology. Diagnose and treat thyroid disorders, including hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, goiter, and autoimmune thyroid disease. Manage osteoporosis, osteopenia, calcium disorders, vitamin D abnormalities, and metabolic bone disease. Diagnose and manage adrenal, pituitary, and parathyroid disorders. Evaluate and treat hormonal disorders, including testosterone, estrogen, prolactin, and related endocrine conditions. Provide endocrine care for obesity, metabolic syndrome, and insulin resistance. Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, imaging, bone-density studies, and endocrine diagnostic testing. Collaborate with primary care providers, APPs, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Completion of Internal Medicine residency. Completion of an Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism fellowship. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. Current or eligible California medical license. DEA registration, as applicable. Strong clinical, communication, and patient-management skills.
