Responsibilities Interpret and analyze diagnostic images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine studies with precision and attention to detail. Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to develop accurate diagnosis and treatment plans. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or EMR platforms to document findings thoroughly and maintain comprehensive patient records. Perform interventional radiology procedures, including vascular interventional radiography, catheterization, and minimally invasive treatments when necessary. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality throughout all aspects of work. Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to advance radiology practices. Stay current with technological advancements in medical imaging and radiology techniques through continuous education. Skills Extensive experience with diagnostic radiology including proficiency in CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and X-ray interpretation. Strong knowledge of medical imaging modalities and their appropriate application for various specialties such as cardiology, neurology, oncology, pediatrics, orthopedics, dermatology, gastroenterology, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), pulmonology, rheumatology, and more. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or similar platforms for efficient documentation and patient management. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive patient care. Post-residency experience in a hospital or outpatient setting with inpatient experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology concepts, CPT coding for procedures, and radiation safety protocols. Experience performing interventional procedures such as vascular interventional radiography or neurocritical care interventions is advantageous. $560,000.00 - $620,000.00 per year
