Psychiatrist - Crisis House Senior Medical Associates ( SMA ) - 5.0 Escondido, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $240 - $245 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Teamwork Psychiatry BC/BE Outpatient experience DEA License Medical License Acute care experience Full Job Description Senior Medical Associates seeks a psychiatrist to join a quality-focused, patient-centered team known for a positive workplace culture at a Crisis Center, located in a home-like environment in the Escondido neighborhood of North San Diego County. Work in the only integrated program system of its kind recognized as evidence-based by SAMHSA. The clinical treatment populations are myriad adults in need of short term acute crisis residential services as a step down from a hospital setting, or as an alternative to a hospitalization. Clients are all admitted voluntarily to this unlocked 16 bed environment, no patients are on psychiatric holds. Enjoy multidisciplinary collaboration with counselors, clinicians, nurses & peer support staff to maximize the successful lauch of your patients back into their community.
QUALIFICATION
Candidates must have an active, unrestricted California medical license & DEA certificate in hand at time of application. Candidate must be board eligible or board certified in psychiatry.
SCHEDULE
Most hours are in person, paid for 24 hours weekly with an expectation to deliver an average of 17.25 hours of face to face care weekly. Must be onsite Mon, Wed and Fri. Also remain on-call M-F through early evening for new admissions, clarifications & PRN issues with this residential outpatient population.
COMPENSATION
$240-245/ hour part time, malpractice including tail coverage included as an option.
