Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join in our brand-new building in Folsom, CA in Summer 2027!
General Gastroenterology Practice
Opportunity to incorporate subspecialty interests into practice
Preferred areas of interest include:
Hepatology
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
Gastrointestinal Motility Disorders
Established referral network with strong patient demand
This position includes a meaningful Graduate Medical Education (GME) component for physicians who enjoy teaching and mentoring future gastroenterologists.
Work directly with Gastroenterology Fellows rotating through clinic
Qualifications:
Desire to participate in teaching and mentorship of GI fellows required
At least 2 years of practice experience strongly preferred
Interest or expertise in Hepatology, IBD, or Motility strongly welcomed
CA DEA MD or DO degree
Completion of Fellowship training in Gastroenterology
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
California medical licensure (or applied/planning to apply)
