Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with our medical staff, and adhering to the highest standards of care. This role requires a strong background in the delivery of healthcare services, particularly in outpatient settings. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will work closely with patients of all ages, between 15 and 79, and must be skilled in managing various medical conditions, including pain management. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will also have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge medical systems, such as Epic, and develop their skills in gastroenterology and other areas.
Duties:
  • Provide specialty care to patients in an outpatient setting, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose and treat various medical conditions, and develop treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results and imaging studies, and provide recommendations for further treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current medical standards, guidelines, and systems.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring that all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with advances in medical technology and healthcare delivery systems.
Qualifications:
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state where the position is located.
  • Experience working in an outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on gastroenterology.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare standards and systems, including Epic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with patients of all ages, including infants and geriatric patients.
Pay:
$65.00
  • $75.
