Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist for a 30-day assignment with our client in California, commencing Sep 1, 2026. This role involves managing complex neonatal cases and providing essential care through day and night shifts, from 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am. The ideal Physician will provide expert medical care for critically ill neonates, performing a range of procedures and managing high-risk deliveries. Responsibilities and Duties Manage PICC Lines Perform intubations Place UA/UV lines Perform chest tube placements Perform catheterizations Conduct needle aspirations Manage high-risk deliveries and c-sections Address cleft palate and cleft lip cases Manage complex birth defects Treat respiratory conditions Manage diaphragmatic hernias Address genetic disorders and malformations Oversee high-risk infant follow-up programs Care for infants of diabetic mothers Manage intestinal obstructions Treat omphalocele Care for premature infants Address primary metabolic defects Manage spinal cord defects Implement therapeutic hypothermia programs for birth asphyxia Perform tracheostomies Provide ventilatory support
