Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Radiologist for an 8-day assignment in California, starting Oct 5, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive coverage for our client's hospital, including interventional radiology needs and stroke CTs, alongside potential coverage for an outpatient building requiring a Radiologist for contrasted CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsies. The schedule primarily operates from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, focusing on a mix of diagnostic interpretations and various interventional procedures. Responsibilities and Duties Cover hospital duties, managing interventional radiology requirements and stroke CTs. Provide on-site coverage for an outpatient building, overseeing contrasted CTs, MRIs, and performing breast biopsies. Perform basic interventional radiology procedures, including paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube placements, drain placements, biopsies, and lumbar punctures. Supervise barium swallow studies. Interpret approximately 50 studies daily, comprising CTs, X-rays, and ultrasounds. Perform 4-6 interventional procedures daily, which include percutaneous biopsies, drains, aspirations, and infrequent tunneled procedures like pleurex catheter placement and CV access.
