Job Description A Guerneville, California based client is seeking a Family Practice Physician to serve as the Medical Director for a community health center. This will be a mixed clinical and administrative role. An ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience or more and leadership experience. Required Qualifications Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree Current CA state medical license Completed an accredited residency program Current DEA certificate 5 years of experience as a primary care physician Current CPR certification Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight and guidance to medical staff, ensuring adherence to best practices, protocols, and regulatory standards. Act as a subject matter expert, offering insights and recommendations on complex medical cases and treatment plans. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the organization's mission and vision. Contribute to the development of clinical programs, quality improvement initiatives, and patient care pathways. Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standard of care delivery. Analyze clinical data, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to enhance patient outcomes. Stay current with industry regulations, accreditation standards, and legal requirements, ensuring full compliance across all clinical operations. Provide clinical care on designated days per week, ensuring accessibility to patients and maintaining clinical skills.
