Alumni Healthcare Staffing seeks a Family Medicine physician for locum tenens assignments in California. Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients of all ages, including wellness visits, chronic disease management, and acute care. You'll work with a collaborative, service-driven team in a fast-paced clinical environment, supported by responsive staffing professionals. Responsibilities include exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, documentation in EMR, and patient education. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine care to patients of all ages Perform routine exams, chronic disease management, and acute care visits Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop evidence-based treatment plans Collaborate with nursing, specialists, and care teams to coordinate patient care Document encounters accurately in the EMR and maintain compliance with regulations Provide patient education and preventive care counseling Participate in clinic meetings and quality improvement initiatives Ensure timely, professional communication with clinic staff and leadership Required Skills Family medicine outpatient care Primary care for all ages Chronic disease management Acute care evaluation and treatment Preventive care and wellness counseling Ordering and interpreting diagnostics Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Clinical decision-making and differential diagnosis Patient and family communication Knowledge of California medical regulations
