Job Description
Physician | Non-Invasive Cardiologist | Irvine , CA The Division of Cardiology at City of Hope provides expertise in clinical cardio-oncology and cardiac imaging, including a full array of noninvasive cardiovascular imaging, including a full array of noninvasive cardiovascular imaging services to assist with the surveillance of cardiac function and diagnosis of heart disease. Based upon our areas of clinical expertise and our basic, translational and clinical research programs, the International Cardio-Oncology Society has recognized City of Hope as a Center of Excellence in the field of Cardio-Oncology. We collaborate with our surgeons and anesthesiologists to offer preoperative risk assessments and clinical optimization before major surgery. The emerging field of cardio-oncology is becoming increasingly important, and our Division works closely with all Departments to provide effective, evidence-based care. The Department of Medicine at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking applications for a full-time clinical faculty position for our Irvine, CA campus. City of Hope is an expanding institution in both numbers of patients per year as well as infrastructure investment in clinical, academic and research facilities. Non-invasive services confined to one site at the Irvine campus Clinical time is divided between inpatient, outpatient, and imaging services Dedicated time for academic, admin, and teaching activities Inpatient call will be 1:3 weeks 4 half-day outpatient clinic sessions per week 20-30 echocardiograms per weekPAY & BENEFITS
