The program follows a field-based, recovery-oriented model designed to serve adults who are homeless, justice-involved, or high utilizers of crisis and hospital services. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services for an adult population presenting with serious mental illness (SMI), working 40 hours per week on a day shift schedule structured as five 8-hour days (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) or four 10-hour days (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) on-site in Lancaster, California. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations (60 minutes per initial evaluation) and providing medication management follow-up visits (30 minutes per visit) for adults navigating SMI, many of whom are experiencing homelessness, justice involvement, or high utilization of crisis and hospital services. Care is delivered directly in clients' homes and communities across the region as part of a field-based, recovery-oriented multidisciplinary team. Credentialing is estimated to take 4 to 6 weeks, and call coverage is negotiable for this assignment.
