Child Psychiatrist LiveWell Homecare Agency Long Beach, CA Job Details Part-time $210 - $230 a day 6 hours ago Qualifications Working with pediatric populations DEA License Adolescents Medical License Pediatric psychiatry Working with youth Full Job Description Seeking a contract Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist (16-30 hours/week, hybrid onsite/virtual) to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment for children and adolescents in Long Beach, CA. Conduct evaluations, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for clients with diverse psychiatric needs. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, providing follow-up and education. Collaborate with therapists, case managers, families, and other team members. Maintain clinical documentation per regulatory standards within specified timeframes. Provide coverage for absent psychiatrists and demonstrate clinical leadership. Requirements include a valid California medical license, board certification or eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, DEA license, and experience with diverse youth populations. Bilingual skills and prior DMH experience are desirable. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $210-$230, with flexible scheduling.
