Make an Impact in Community Pediatrics Serenity Care Health Group (SCHG) is seeking a Spanish-speaking Pediatrician to join our growing pediatric practice in Long Beach. This is an opportunity for a physician who values meaningful relationships with children and families, collaborative care, and the ability to make a direct impact in a diverse community health setting. You will provide comprehensive pediatric primary care while working alongside Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, clinical staff, and other members of the care team. Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions in accordance with current clinical guidelines. Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Educate patients and families on health maintenance, nutrition, development, safety, and disease prevention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated, patient-centered care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Participate in quality improvement activities, case reviews, and organizational initiatives as needed. Support after-hours care processes to ensure continuity of care. Provide appropriate practitioner oversight and supervision at the clinic. Perform medical record review, including auditing and co-signing medical records of at least 5% of patients seen by mid-level providers within thirty (30) days of the patient's visit. Remain available for clinical questions from Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants during all clinical hours. Provide constructive feedback to providers to support professional development and adherence to best practices. Remain knowledgeable of organizational protocols, policies, and procedures. What We're Looking For Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Active California Medical License in good standing or ability to obtain prior to start. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics. DEA registration or ability to obtain. BLS and PALS certification. Spanish-speaking proficiency required. Availability to work Saturdays and extended clinic hours required. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative care team. Experience providing pediatric care in an outpatient or community health setting is preferred. Experience working with diverse and underserved populations is valued. Familiarity with FQHC/community health operations and eClinicalWorks (eCW) is preferred. Grow With Our Pediatric Program!
