Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Anesthesiologist for an 84-day assignment in California, starting Oct 1, 2026. This role involves administering anesthesia to pediatric patients across a full scope of cases, including neonates and children under two, in a stand-alone children's hospital. The physician will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate records to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities and Duties Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities Provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals as needed Additional Information Board Certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology is required. EMR system utilized is Epic. The physician will see a full scope of pediatric anesthesia cases, including neonates and children under two, at a stand-alone children's hospital with NICU and PICU units. This includes Peds Surgical Cases, Non-OR/Diagnostic Procedures, and Pain Management/Critical Care. Cardiac cases are not required. The ability to operate independently, rather than solely supervising CRNAs, is essential.
