Support Job Overview This full-time OB/GYN Laborist opportunity offers a flexible schedule of seven (7) 24-hour shifts per month, providing dedicated inpatient obstetric coverage. The Laborist supports a team of eleven Obstetricians and averages approximately three deliveries per 24-hour shift. Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery, performing deliveries, triaging obstetric emergencies, and rounding on postpartum and antepartum inpatients (approximately 5 10 patients daily). Comprehensive backup support is available from on-site Obstetricians and a hospitalist group. The hospital features a Level III NICU, 24-hour dedicated anesthesia coverage for labor and delivery, 24-hour Neonatologist support, and 24-hour Pediatric Hospitalist coverage ensuring a highly supported clinical environment.
