Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Primary Care Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, intake evaluations, and medical history reviews using EMR/EHR systems such as Nextgen. Prescribe medications and administer injections following DEA regulations, aseptic techniques, and medical treatment protocols.

Triage patient concerns:

provide telehealth consultations when appropriate. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Cerner while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Support discharge planning, post-acute care coordination, and client education on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies. Assist in training staff on new protocols related to critical & intensive care procedures. Maintain proficiency in CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding standards for billing purposes; ensure accurate documentation for reimbursement. Qualifications Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with valid state licensure; DEA registration required for prescribing medications. Demonstrated experience in primary care settings with experience preferred. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems Nextgen. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Hands-on experience with procedures including suturing, injection administration, basic life support certification required. Experience managing complex cases. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams; excellent client communication skills essential for delivering compassionate patient care. Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding standards for billing; familiarity with hospital medicine protocols and sub-acute care practices preferred.
