They will be well versed in dual-diagnostic aspects of treatment and have experience in treating various mental health disorders including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychosis and cannabis-induced psychosis. The Psychiatrist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans and ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine mental health needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic modalities. Provide crisis management support for patients experiencing acute psychiatric episodes. Deliver therapy sessions and mental health counseling to patients, focusing on their unique challenges and goals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including data collection for ongoing assessment of treatment efficacy. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatric psychiatry and general psychiatric care.

Post-residency experience preferred, particularly in inpatient settings. Strong background in pediatric psychiatry is a plus. Proven skills in crisis management and patient assessment. Experience providing therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
