Job Description An Orland, California based client is seeking an excellent Primary Care Physician to provide care to patients in a community health center. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations. This role involves providing continuing, comprehensive wellness, preventative, and medical care to families and/or adults. Physicians right out of residency are welcome to apply. Required Qualifications Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree Current CA state medical license Completed an accredited residency program Current DEA certificate Board certified in primary care Current CPR certification Spanish fluency (preferred) Responsibilities Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury; Maintaining the patient record in a timely fashion Provide narrative summaries in EMR to communicate patient information to other health care providers Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients Advise patients concerning diet, activity, and disease prevention Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary About Provider Healthcare Provider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
