As a Physician Assistant at Little Star Pediatric Urgent Care, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide top-tier pediatric care. We specialize in delivering healthcare services to children in an urgent care setting. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistants to join our team and help us fulfill our mission.Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric patients.
- Provide care for a wide range of pediatric conditions and illnesses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays and lab work.
- Administer appropriate medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with our team of physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver holistic care.
- Educate patients and families about health and preventive measures.
- Assist with minor procedures and wound care.
- Uphold our commitment to compassionate care by fostering a warm and friendly environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physician Assistant license and certification in the state of California.
- Prior experience in pediatrics or pediatric urgent care is a plus.
- Proficiency in performing common pediatric procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with children and their families.
