Our medical staff plays an integral role in delivering patient-centered care based on evidence-based therapies and comprehensive medical evaluations. As a Staff Physician, you are expected to uphold the highest standards of medical practices while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of outstanding recovery solutions that Hazelden Betty Ford is known for. Responsibilities Provide high-quality medical care and consultation as part of a multidisciplinary team Assess patient health through interviews, examinations, and diagnostic tests Manage overall patient care regarding lifestyle and development issues Initiate and manage withdrawal management protocols effectively Emphasize preventative care and disease management Prescribe and administer medications following best practice guidelines Document patient information and care plans thoroughly and confidentially Conduct patient follow-ups for assessing the long-term outcomes and adjusting treatment plans Required Skills Strong clinical skills with a focus on substance abuse and mental health disorders Excellent decision-making abilities and diagnostic skills Ability to manage complex patient scenarios Proficient in using medical software and telehealth platforms
