Responsibilities include treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, focusing on medically complex cases, facilitating return to work, and providing both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal care. Collaborate with medical and therapy teams, communicate with employers, and actively participate in case management to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in the practice state, MD or DO degree from an accredited institution, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in Hand Surgery, and medical malpractice insurance.
