2990641255-2 Apply for this job now Job Description We are looking for a Board-Certified General Surgeon for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in southern California, near Santa Monica . This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient surgical care, with a focus on providing high-quality services to patients in a scenic coastal area.

Shift Details:

Monday through Friday (8 AM to 5 PM), with night and weekend beeper call

On-Call Requirements:

Beeper call, usually one call per day; rarely requires a physical visit to the facility

Specialty Focus:

General Surgery with a focus on Oncology Breast Surgery Surgeries required: Lumpectomy, mastectomies (including nipple-sparing mastectomy), sentinel node biopsy, and axillary dissection

Experience:

Providers must have extensive experience in breast surgery and be comfortable handling both high-risk and benign breast disease

Key Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical care Perform a variety of general surgery procedures, with a strong focus on breast oncology Collaborate in joint oncoplastic surgeries as needed Handle both scheduled and emergency surgical cases

Required Certifications:

Board Certification in General Surgery BLS certification California State Medical License (or eligibility)
