Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant to join our client's team in California for a 120-day assignment starting Oct 21, 2026. This full-time role involves managing all aspects of outpatient Family Medicine clinic work, seeing a wide scope of cases in a rural setting, and providing essential wound care. Shifts are typically 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities and Duties Manage all aspects of Family Medicine outpatient clinic work. See a wide scope of cases suitable for a rural, sole-facility environment. Perform wound care, including for diabetic and venous stasis ulcers using hydrocolloid and hydrogel dressings and Unna boots. Conduct blood draws. Provide care for patients of all ages. Prescribe birth control, including IUD insertions and removals. Handle minor orthopedic cases as needed. Discuss philosophy on Addiction Medicine.
Additional Information EMR:
eClinicalWorks Must have wound care experience. Provider will be working in an outpatient clinic setting. Experience prescribing birth control, including IUD insertions and removals, is required.
