Duties Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations and patient history reviews, to accurately diagnose health issues. Develop and implement individualized care plans that encompass preventive measures, chronic disease management, and acute care interventions. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters meticulously and ensure seamless information flow. Coordinate with specialists across disciplines like cardiology, endocrinology, psychiatry, and radiology for comprehensive patient management. Perform procedures including suturing, basic life support (BLS), and wound care when necessary to stabilize patients. Educate patients on health promotion strategies, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and preventive screenings like mammography or immunizations. Manage inpatient and outpatient caseloads efficiently while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical research protocols when applicable. Skills Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Proficiency with EMR systems for accurate documentation. Strong clinical skills in areas including family medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and urgent care settings. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations across inpatient and outpatient environments. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes; understanding of ICD coding standards for diagnoses documentation. $275,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
