Job Description

Our client in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician for a 72-day assignment starting Jul 6, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts, providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics. The Physician will manage adult and pediatric ICU cases, handle deliveries, and perform critical procedures, supporting a community where the closest hospital is several hours away. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Manage deliveries from 35 weeks and above; address occasional pre-term labor related to altitude. Perform newborn intubations and manage emergency umbilical cord catheter procedures. Oversee adult and pediatric ICU patients, including those requiring continuous fusion, within a remote setting. Additional Information Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics is preferred; Board Eligibility will be considered. Proficiency with Epic EMR is required. Must hold NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications. Experience in a 25-bed hospital, designated as a trauma center with a nursery.
