Job Description

Glenwood Medical Associates, PC seeks a Physician to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in our independent multi-specialty practice in Glenwood Springs, CO. The physician will deliver primary and specialty services, including prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions, collaborating closely with internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, dermatology, and other clinicians. Responsibilities include outpatient visits, coordinated care, documentation in the EHR, participation in quality initiatives, and limited call. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Deliver preventive care including wellness exams, screening, immunizations, and patient education. Coordinate care with multi-specialty colleagues (internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, dermatology, and others). Document all encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR). Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies. Develop and adjust evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families. Participate in call coverage and cross-coverage as assigned. Engage in quality improvement, population health, and care coordination initiatives. Collaborate closely with nurses, MAs, and other staff to support efficient clinic workflow. Contribute to a culture of teamwork, respect, and community-focused, patient-first care. Required Skills Clinical diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions Primary care / internal medicine / family medicine skills Outpatient care management Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation (e.g., Epic or similar) Ordering and interpreting labs and imaging Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart disease) Preventive medicine and population health Care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration Procedural skills appropriate to specialty (e.g., minor office procedures) Patient counseling and communication
