Job Description

Join a growing outpatient gastroenterology practice in Colorado Springs as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. You'll work with a collaborative team of GI specialists in a supportive environment that emphasizes predictable weekday hours and strong work-life balance. Candidates with primary care or internal medicine backgrounds are encouraged - no prior GI experience required. Schedule and Clinical Scope Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with a one-hour daily lunch Adult patient population (18+) Typical clinic volume: 12-16 patients per day Inpatient rounding rotation every six weeks Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits; develop treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and prevention Participate in rotating inpatient rounds and collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and clinical support staff Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary: $120,000-$135,000 plus a 45% production bonus Full medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and CME support Malpractice coverage Dedicated medical assistant support Consistent Monday-Friday schedule supporting strong work-life balance Qualifications Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program; board certified Eligible for or holding an active Colorado license Background in gastroenterology or adult internal medicine preferred Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills If you're seeking a stable, team-oriented role with excellent support and a predictable schedule, this is an outstanding opportunity to grow in an outpatient GI setting.
