Reporting to the Division Director of Infectious Disease, this specialist will be part of a department with responsibilities that include:

• Inpatient consultations at St. Vincent's Medical Center.
• Outpatient office, including outpatient HIV and hepatitis C patient treatment.
• Assisting with Antimicrobial Stewardship program.
• Assisting with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programs.
• Systemwide collaboration with over 20 ID physician colleagues.
• Postgraduate medical education for residents and medical students.
• Appointment to Quinnipiac University at the assistant professor level.
• NO primary care.
• Active hospitalist program to care for inpatients.
• Shared call with other ID physicians.

Qualifications:

• BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Connecticut.
