This role focuses on managing patients with both mental health and substance use disorders in a structured, team-based environment.
Compensation:
$220
Per Hour Schedule Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30
PM Call:
None Practice Setting Inpatient dual diagnosis unit 22-bed unit
Patient Volume:
~12 patients per day Average length of stay: 7-10 days Multidisciplinary support team including nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and psychiatric technicians Clinical Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders Conduct psychiatric assessments, medication management, and treatment planning Participate in daily rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings Coordinate care and discharge planning Maintain accurate and timely documentation Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Active Connecticut medical license (or ability to obtain) Experience in inpatient psychiatry and/or addiction medicine preferred
