Shift 1, Days Position Summary The Radiology Facilitator plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting a wide range of responsibilities involving tasks utilizing electronic, digital and PACS technologies. The Radiology Facilitator will schedule outpatient procedures and appointments using EPIC, and will work closely with Radiology staff, Supervisors, and Physicians to coordinate Interventional Radiology procedures and other speciality modality procedures. Acting as a liaison and ambassador, the Radiology Facilitator will ensure clear and effective communication between Radiologists, referring physicians, and department staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Under general supervision, the Radiology Facilitator will; Maintains thorough knowledge and grasp of: Schedule STAT outpatient radiology procedures Modality processes and scheduling templates Serves as a customer service representative for internal and external referring provider offices Interventional Radiology workflow Schedule inpatient and outpatient interventional procedures Schedule anesthesia for specific procedures Work the IR protocol list Serves as point of contact for:

Interventional Radiologist and Interventional P.A., both inter- and intra-departmentally Proficient in the operation of all relevant equipment and computer systems. Retain knowledge about multiple procedures and keep track of multiple tasks. Collects and processes patient clinical data to ensure superior patient care as well as department/hospital financial goals are achieved. Accurately collects and documents patient data in computer systems to ensure safe patient care as well as providing necessary information used in the billing of the exam. Provides superior service that exceeds customer expectations so that relations with our patients are maintained and enhanced. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience:
Minimum Years of Experience :
2 years of scheduling experience in a hospital or medical office facility
Minimum Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Preferred Education and Experience:
Preferred Years of Experience 1 year scheduling experience 1 year working in an imaging department
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, Communication skills, excellent writing and spelling. Works independently using professional judgment Typing and computer knowledge. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Knowledge of PACS systems and EPIC Google experience preferred AS/Medical terminology certification Good work ethic Comprehensive Benefits Offered

Compensation Range:
$18.95 to $27.48

The compensation range(s) above are a good-faith representation of the base pay rates for all positions at a given grade across the organization. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting pay rate somewhere in the lower part of the range.
