Locums About the Facility This inpatient facility provides specialized psychiatric services for pediatric and adolescent patients requiring hospitalization and stabilization in Connecticut. The facility maintains established inpatient psychiatric unit operations to support coordinated care delivery. Locum tenens coverage from a qualified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist is sought to maintain continuity of the pediatric mental health program. About the Facility Location Connecticut offers a range of outdoor and recreational activities suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore hiking at Devils Hopyard State Park and Kent Falls, kayaking through outfitters such as Black Hall Outfitters in Old Lyme, and biking through state parks. The area also provides scenic drives, visits to local wineries, a culinary scene with a focus on seafood, and excursions aboard the Essex Steam Train and Riverboat. About the Clinician's Workday The clinician will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents, working 40 hours per week Monday through Friday on 8-hour day shifts at an on-site facility in Connecticut.
