Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians, including 24-hour APP support and structured dual-coverage scheduling. About the Facility Location Connecticut offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks, one of the country's largest aviation museums with over 100 aircraft on display. The state features outdoor recreation destinations such as Brownstone Adventure Sports Park in Portland, set within a historic granite quarry, as well as scenic coastal landmarks including the Groton Lighthouse at the mouth of the Thames River. Clinicians on assignment may also explore brewery tours, live music venues, farm-to-table dining experiences, and cultural institutions such as the Griswold Inn, which houses a notable marine art collection, across multiple regions throughout the state. About the Clinician's Workday The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide inpatient clinical coverage during night shifts at this on-site facility in Connecticut, averaging 32 hours per week on a rotating schedule of 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next. Clinicians will evaluate and manage an average of 15 patients per shift, maintaining accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift. Dual physician coverage is in place from 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM, with single physician coverage from 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM; 24-hour APP coverage supports clinical operations throughout the assignment. Board certification is required, and no call responsibilities are associated with this position.
