Job Description

Medical Oncologist (Locum) Willimantic, CT Position Overview A locum Medical Oncologist is needed to provide outpatient oncology coverage. A general Medical Oncologist is preferred, with the ability to manage both malignant and benign hematology patients. This is a clinic-based assignment with no call responsibilities.

Coverage Needed:
3 days per week
Schedule:
Sunday Saturday work week (scheduled clinic days only)
Call:
None Practice Setting Outpatient Medical Oncology Clinic Responsibilities Evaluate and treat adult oncology patients Manage benign hematology cases Develop and oversee treatment plans Collaborate with the multidisciplinary oncology team Document patient care appropriately Floating between locations may be required Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible Medical Oncologist Experience in Medical Oncology Ability to manage benign hematology patients Telehealth experience required Prior travel assignment experience preferred Additional Information Outpatient practice No on-call responsibilities Weekly billing cycle Floating required as needed
